PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle detection device capable of shortening a measurement period and reducing a measurement cost.SOLUTION: A particle detection device 10 detects a particle of biological origin. The particle detection device 10 comprises: a collection sheet 12; a collection section 21 which introduces the particle in air into the device and collects the same with the collection sheet 12; a heating section 31 which heats the particle collected with the collection sheet 12 in a manner that increases fluorescence emitted from the particle; a fluorescence detection section 41 which detects the fluorescence emitted from the particle collected with the collection sheet 12; and a transfer mechanism section 51 which transfers the collection sheet 12.
