PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting receiver capable of proper viewing restriction without user's operation.SOLUTION: This BD player 100 (broadcasting receiver) comprises: a receiving unit 22 for receiving a broadcast signal; a detection unit 21 for detecting that a user being the target of viewing restriction of the broadcast signal enters a residence 130; and a control unit 21 which, on the basis of the detection by the detection unit 21 that the user being the target of the viewing restriction of the broadcast signal enters the residence 130, performs control to validate the viewing restriction corresponding to the detected user if the viewing restriction is invalid. |
