PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently, accurately and reliably achieve enhancing effects and masking effects of various aroma constituents, by accurately identifying such constituents and searching for effective ways to blend and combining them and, for this purpose, to eliminate lingering scents of aroma constituents.SOLUTION: A volatile constituent-measuring method comprises a step of supplying carrier gas to a plurality of vials, a step of selecting vials by operating on/off valves communicating with the plurality of vials and sending out the generated volatile constituents, a step of delivering the sent-out volatile constituents to a selecting/mixing unit, a washing step of constantly letting makeup gas flow downstream of an inflow unit in the selecting/mixing unit, a step of selecting or mixing a single or a plurality of volatile constituents in the selecting/mixing unit, and a step of sending out the volatile constituents to a measuring unit by the carrier gas and the makeup gas. |
