590,275. Reflectors. KIDD, R. A., COTTON, W. H. B., and ROTH, F. J. Aug. 19, 1944, No. 15870. [Class 3 (ii)] A reflector 3 is formed with a shoulder 5 and is mounted in a recess 1 in a base 2. A ring 6, or mass of caulking material, is pressed into the recess around the reflector 3 between the shoulder 5 and the open end of recess 1 to retain it in place, and a pad 4 of cork, fibre, rubber &c. is laid at the bottom of the recess. The rear face of the reflector 3 may be convex and the sides of the reflector, or of the recess, may be grooved to receive the caulking material. Specification 570,676 is referred to. |
