PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a radiation image detector using an FPD usable without consuming extra cost and labor in a radiation generator that is not compatible with a radiation image detector using an FPD.SOLUTION: A synchronous communication interface 37 of an electronic cassette 13 is connected with an AEC interface 29 of an X-ray source control device 11 via a signal cable 38. A communication path 39 is established by the interfaces 29 and 37, and the signal cable 38. An irradiation start request signal S1, which is a start synchronization signal, an irradiation permission signal S2, and an irradiation end signal S3, which is an end synchronization signal, are communicated over the communication path 39. |
