PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bracket for a steering gear housing capable of facilitating assembling.SOLUTION: A bracket comprises: a bracket body formed by a fitting part provided extending over a circumferential predetermined range of the outer periphery of a columnar part and provided with a fitting surface to which another member is fitted outside in the radial direction and an enclosing part integrally molded with the fitting part to enclose a range outside of the circumferential predetermined range of the columnar part and having elasticity, and formed of metallic material by pultrusion or extrusion molding; and a cutout part provided on only one circumferential portion of the bracket body to separate the bracket body in the circumferential direction; and a fastening member for fixing the bracket body to the columnar part by coupling both side parts in the circumferential direction to each other across the cutout part.
