The present invention relates to a system and method for an electric field cable layout design. The electric field cable layout design system according to the present invention comprises: a control unit which designs a layout of electric field cables based on an electric field cable layout design program; a communication unit which communicates with a terminal through a communication network according to the control of the control unit; a storage unit which stores the electric field cable layout design program, provides the control unit with the stored electric field cable layout design program, and stores electric field cable layout design drawings according to the control of the control unit; an input unit which inputs, into the control unit, instructions and data applied according to a manual operation; and a display unit which displays various screens for system management according to the control of the control unit. According to the present invention, it is possible to perform the electric field cable layout design at high speed by grouping and collectively routing a plurality of cables disposed on the same path when designing the layout for the electric field cables to be installed in a vessel.
