The present invention relates to a non-aqueous lithium secondary battery which comprises the followings: a positive electrode including a positive electrode active material which enables to intercalate and deintercalate lithium; a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material; polymer electrolyte including a gel polymer, a non-aqueous organic solvent, and lithium salt; and a separator with the compression strength about 0.15 gf/cm^2 to about 0.3 gf/cm^2 per 1 μm of thickness.
