The present invention relates to a variable rim for optimizing tire performance that allows the movement of a bead in accordance with an air pressure of a tire to vary the radius of a side wall, thus optimizing the performance of the tire, improving the driving stability and ride comfort, and reducing the vibration and noise. According to the present invention, the variable rim (10) having a bead (20) coupled thereto so as to seal the air pressure inside the tire includes a damper (15) disposed on the outer surface thereof with which the bead (20) is contacted so as to allow the mounting angle between the bead (20) and the rim (10) to be varied in accordance with the inside air pressure of the tire, thus allowing the bead (20) to be moved. Even if driving environments are varied, accordingly, the variation on the ground area of the tire can be minimized, and the mounting angle between the bead and the rim is varied to achieve the optimization of the tire performance. |
