PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an ink composition in which cockle is suppressed, and color reproducibility is excellent; and an image-forming method.SOLUTION: An ink composition includes: water; an organic pigment; a polymer dispersant that disperses a near infrared absorption coloring agent; a water insoluble near infrared absorption coloring agent that has an absorption maximal wave length in a range of at least 700 nm and at most 1,500 nm.
