PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve prediction accuracy of cash need on an automatic transaction device.SOLUTION: A demand predicting device for predicting cash need on an automatic transaction device includes: an outlier extraction part which performs statistical work on transactions during one past period and extracts a transaction which has a statistical outlier as a burst transaction; and a demand predicting part which predicts demand using the transactions during the period excluding the burst transaction.
