PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a uniflow scavenging type two-cycle engine having further improved operability by spreading fuel gas widely into a whole cylinder.SOLUTION: A uniflow scavenging type two-cycle engine 100 includes a cylinder 110, a piston 112 for sliding in the cylinder, an exhaust port 116 provided in one end of the cylinder, an exhaust valve 120 for opening/closing the exhaust port, a scavenging port 122 provided in the inner peripheral face of the cylinder at the other end side in the stroking direction of the piston for sucking active gas into a combustion chamber 140 depending on the sliding operation of the piston, and a plurality of fuel injection valves 128 for injecting fuel gas into the active gas sucked from the scavenging port into the combustion chamber to create pre-mixed gas. The plurality of fuel injection valves include, at least, a first fuel injection valve for injecting the fuel gas along the swirl flow of the active gas sucked into the cylinder, and a second fuel injection valve for injecting the fuel gas toward the further center axial side of the cylinder than the first fuel injection valve. |
