PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access point that has a power saving station as a radio slave unit connected with the access point and that can perform radio communication with little delay while reducing power consumption of the power saving station.SOLUTION: A radio access point changes a DTIM interval not only in the case of actual occurrence of communication data for a station but also in the case where occurrence of communication data can be expected. Furthermore, in response to an APR request from the station, the radio access point only transfers the request to a corresponding station. This allows communication to be quickly started while reducing consumption power of the station. As a result, both reduction in power consumption and communication performance can be achieved. |
