PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for trimming a square container, capable of obtaining a good cutting plane in which cracks and burrs are suppressed, in the trimming of the square container.SOLUTION: At first, when a punch cutter 6 is made to cut a square shape tube 10 of a square container 1a before the trim cut, the punch cutter 6 is caused to cut-in while being tilted to the thickness direction of a cutting area of the square shape tube 10. Then, the punch cutter 6 is revolved and moved along a trim line TL of the square shape tube 10 to cut it. |
