PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine which is made compact in a shaft axial direction, and has reduced cost of manufacture and weight.SOLUTION: In a motor 14 used as the rotary electric machine, a motor generator shaft 20 fixed to the center part of a first rotor 30 is composed of an inner shaft 50 and an outer shaft 52 which is provided on an outer peripheral side of the inner shaft 50 and to which the first rotor 30 is fixed. First and second spigot configuration parts 66a and 66b are provided in an inner peripheral surface of the outer shaft 52, and third and fourth spigot configuration parts 76a and 76b are provided in an outer peripheral surface of the inner shaft 50. Thereby, the outer shaft 52 can be held to the inner shaft 50 in a radial direction with high accuracy, so that the outer shaft 52 can be also supported integrally and freely rotatably by supporting the inner shaft 50 freely rotatably by first and second bearings 58 and 62. |
