PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid system having a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A hybrid system comprises: an engine ENG; a first rotary machine MG1; a second rotary machine MG2; a differential gear 20 having a plurality of differentially rotatable rotation elements including a carrier C to which an engine rotary shaft 11 is connected, a sun gear S to which an MG1 rotary shaft 12 is connected, and a ring gear R to which the second rotary machine MG2 and a drive wheel W are connected; a first one-way clutch 51 which is arranged between the engine ENG and the first rotary machine MG1, and the second rotary machine MG2 and the drive wheel W, and becomes a release state for disconnecting between both the groups during EV (Electric Vehicular) travel and when the engine ENG is started, but on the other hand becomes an engagement state for connecting between the groups during HV (Hybrid Vehicular) travel; and a second one-way clutch 52 which stops rotation of engagement elements on the side of the engine ENG and the first rotary machine MG1 in the one-way clutch 51 when the engine ENG is started. |
