PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction method and a prediction system for a material structure that can quantitatively predict the structure of a material having phase transformation as temperature varies.SOLUTION: There is provided a prediction method for predicting the structure of a material having phase transformation from a host phase to a new phase through nucleation resulting from temperature variation of the material, the prediction method including arranging a nucleus formation candidate nucleus in the material in advance, determining whether a nucleus is formed for each arranged nucleus formation candidate, and defining the nucleus formation candidate determined to have the nucleus formed as a new phase to compute temporal development of the structure of the new phase. |
