PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera device that can output a picture having little noise even when the camera device has a mechanism system in which a lens unit is covered by a shield unit, and a picture outputting method for the camera.SOLUTION: A camera device 10 has an imaging element, a lens unit 19 for focusing incident light to the imaging element, a shield unit that is movable to a position where the front side of the lens unit 19 is covered and a position where the front side of the lens unit 19 is not covered, and a housing 11 for supporting the lens unit 19 and the shield unit. When the shield unit is located at the position where the front side of the lens unit 19 is covered, a picture signal processor does not output a picture incident to the imaging element. When the shield unit is located at the position where the front side of the lens unit 19 is covered, the picture signal processor may output another picture in place of non-output of the picture incident to the imaging element. |
