PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate optimal display image data considering a rotation angle of a screen from RAW image data.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus comprises image information acquisition means for acquiring information and the pixel number of a pixel array of image data, panel information acquisition means for acquiring information of a pixel array of a display panel, angle information acquisition means for acquiring information of an angle of the display panel, calculation means for calculating an output region indicating a part for displaying an image in the display panel to calculate a pixel array of the display panel in the output region on the basis of the pixel array of the display panel, the angle of the display panel and the pixel number of the image data, and generation means for determining an interpolation use pixel which is a pixel of the image data used for calculating a pixel value for each pixel of the display panel in the output region on the bases of a pixel array of the display panel in the output region and a pixel array of the image data in the output region, calculating a pixel value for each pixel of the display panel in the output region on the basis of the pixel value of the interpolation use pixel, and generating display image data to be output onto the display panel on the basis of the calculated pixel value. |
