PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press device capable of reducing a total height for the purpose of reducing labor and expenses for shipping, transporting and installing the press device.SOLUTION: A press device 1 is configured such that a ram 13 is supported by a tube 23 of a double-rod cylinder 2 having its upper rod 21 connected to a crown 11 and its lower rod 22 fixed in position to a head 12. Vertically communicated through-holes are formed. A tube abutment part 31 and a rod receiving part 3 having use time fixed parts 32 and 33 and a transportation time fixed part 31 vertically separated from each other and arrayed sequentially from above are arranged in the head 12. During pressing work, the lower rod 22 put through the through-hole of the tube abutment part 31 is fixed in position to the use time fixed part 32. During transportation work, the lower end of a tube 23 is abutted on the tube abutment part 31, and the lower rod 22 put through the through-holes of the tube abutment part and the use time fixed part 32 is fixed in position to the transportation time fixed part 34. |
