The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing antibacterial sand used for molding excellent in contamination resistance and cohesiveness, and more specifically the manufacturing method comprises: a releasable wax coating step (S101) for coating a releasable wax on sand; an adhesive wax coating step (S103) for coating an adhesive wax mixture on the sand obtained from the releasable wax coating step; an insect repellent spraying step (S105) for spraying an insect repellent on the sand obtained from the adhesive wax coating step; an animal-blocking agent spraying step (S107) for spraying an animal-blocking agent on the sand obtained from the insect repellent spraying step; and a cooling and selecting step (S109) for cooling and selecting the sand obtained from the animal-blocking agent spraying step. The sand manufactured through the steps has excellent cohesiveness to be suitable for molding, and is excellent in contamination resistance and antibacterial performance and, in addition, is coated with an insect repellent and an animal-blocking agent, thereby maintaining cleanliness for a long period.
