The device has a bushing jig (40) axially extended to a left end of an oil supply chute to cross a wall of an element (10) of a gear box (25). The bushing jig remains visible during accosting of the element on a mechanical unit (20). A guidance gun is separated from the left end of the chute by a breakable part (45) such that the bushing jig is disunited with the chute by rupture of the breakable part after accosting of the casing type element on the mechanical unit. The rupture operation of the breakable part is carried with a power tool i.e. Torx (RTM: screw head). An independent claim is also included for a method for assisting assembly of an element of a casing on a mechanical unit of a car.
