PURPOSE: A tool registration system in a learning content authoring tool and a method thereof are provided to make learning content in which a learning tool and a content element are organically integrated by moving an icon to the learning content. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of tool provider servers (2) provides a tool provider (20) according to each LTI rule and keys for the tool provider to a tool consumer (10). A profile server (110) generates the tool consumer for access to the tool provider. An authoring unit (120) provides a user interface of a what you see is what you get (WISWIG) type. The profile server provides the detailed information of the tool consumer to the authoring unit according to the request of the authoring unit. The authoring unit registers the tool consumer in the user interface by using the detailed information.
