<p>The invention relates to a tool (1) for controlling the sizing of a part, which is particularly suitable for measuring and checking a part (2), such as a frame. The tool (1) is provided with securing and centering means (3) for tightly coupling the part to the tool. In addition, the tool is provided with a plurality of supports (P1, P2, P3) and each support includes a channel (4) for removably retaining a measurement instrument (5), such as a dial indicator (20). The aforementioned supports comprise means (6) for detecting the correct coupling of a corresponding measurement instrument, checking that the measurement instrument is correctly positioned when the measurement value is obtained, and consequently allowing measurements to be taken more quickly and in a failsafe manner.</p> |
