The method involves transmitting a key from an element of an installation part (1A) to a configuration device (2). Another key is transmitted from an element of another installation part (1B) to the configuration device. A new key is generated in a random manner from the former key and/or the latter key. The new key is defined and transmitted from the configuration device to the element of latter installation part. The new key is recorded in a memory of the element of the latter installation part by erasing the former key and the latter key previously in the memory.
