The invention relates to a cementitious composite having added carbon nanofibres for heating buildings or de-icing road surfaces, among others. The composite is made up of a cementitious matrix which comprises a mixture of cement and water; carbon nanofibres which are added to the components of the cementitious mixture prior to mixing same, said nanofibres being evenly dispersed in the cementitious matrix; two silver-painted electric contacts applied to two opposite smaller sides, which enable the application of an electric current; and a platinum (Pt100) resistive temperature sensor adhered to the top surface of the test piece (10 x 10 cm), which makes it possible to monitor temperature variations on the surface of the test piece.
