The anchor (1) has an anchor head (2) carrying an input pallet (3) and an output pallet (4), where the head is arranged to cooperate with an escapement wheel (20). A fork (6) is arranged to cooperate with a lever (30), where the angular position of the fork is variable relative to the head. A flexible blade (10) provides a permanent mechanical connection between the head and the fork. The head is pivotable about a pivot axle (5), and the fork is pivotable about another pivot axle (9), where the anchor is made of silicon or silicon oxide or metallic glass. An independent claim is also included for an escapement mechanism.
