PURPOSE: A capacitive touch detecting means using a voltage variation, a detecting method, a touch screen panel, and a display device with the touch screen panel thereof are provided to detect a touch input to a relative high voltage level, thereby easily capturing a signal. CONSTITUTION: A sensor pattern(10) includes a matrix shape which is an island shape isolated in an active area of a substrate. An auxiliary capacitor includes a sensor signal line which is formed across the active area to connect the sensor pattern and a drive IC. The drive IC is connected to one side of the sensor pattern. A recharging means(12) recharges in the sensor pattern and the auxiliary capacitor. A touch detecting means detects a touch based on a voltage variation value corresponding to a driving voltage applied in the auxiliary capacitor with a recharged and isolated state.
