<p>The system has a container (2) or a hopper for storage of volcanic ash, and a mechanical dispensing device (3) for taking a controlled quantity of volcanic ash in the container at a given frequency. A set of pipes (4) is utilized for taking the ash from the dispensing device and for injecting the ash into a combustion chamber of a turboshaft engine (1) i.e. double flow turbojet, that is placed on a test bed. The dispensing device includes a portable unit i.e. rotary variable component, with a proportioning chamber, and checking electronics that controls displacement of the portable unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an assembly forming test bench (2) a method for testing a turboshaft engine.</p> |
