According to an embodiment of the present invention, a web-based POD providing method and an apparatus thereof are provided. The web-based POD providing method comprises the steps of: receiving object data as a target image to be output from a user terminal; storing the object data; determining normality or abnormality by confirming whether the object data has an image format available in a web-based POD apparatus; generating converted data by converting the size of the object data, which is determined as normal data according to a result of the determination, to be suitable for a resolution of a screen capable of a screen shot; proceeding the screen shot with respect the converted data of which the size is converted; and storing the screen shot image.
