The projector has a locking element (21) that is intended to be mounted on a fixed element (4) of a vehicle i.e. car, and is moved between a locking position and an unlocking position. A reception element (22) is associated with the locking element and is attached to the projector. A displacement unit (23) such as hydraulic displacement unit, is formed for moving the locking element from the locking position to the unlocking position. A control unit (24) such as handle, controlling the displacement unit is placed at a predetermined distance from the locking element. An independent claim is also included for a car.
