Provided is a power supply capable of reducing unnecessary power consumption causing self-discharge of a secondary battery. Power is supplied to an input terminal from common power. An electric load is connected to an output terminal. A power accumulation device is charged by the power supplied from the input terminal. The power accumulation device supplies power to the output terminal. A control device monitors a voltage of the common power which is applied to the input terminal, and the charging state of the power accumulation device. One or more primary batteries among multiple primary batteries are changed to an operation state capable of supplying power to the output terminal based on a monitoring result. Also, the failure of an operation of the primary battery in the operation state is determined. If the operation state of the primary battery is poor, the other primary battery is changed to the operation state. |
