The present invention relates to a phase difference detection pixel using a micro lens capable of detecting a phase difference without the loss of an input signal by changing the shape of the micro lens which collects light entering from a photodiode to allow the light to pass in a specific direction. According to the present invention, the phase difference detection pixel using a micro lens solves a signal reduction problem, a demerit of an existing phase difference detection pixel. A phase detection function is realized in all regions of an image sensor. It realizes not only a function of detecting a simply phase difference but also various applications such as the distance measurement between objects, 3D image photography, etc.
