The beacon (2) has a body (6) mounted on a base (4) and including a set of segments (6a-6d), where each segment has end sections with locking units. The locking units engage with each other so as to allow locking of two segments by exerting first torque (C1) in first rotation direction and unlocking of other two segments by exerting second torque (C1') in another rotation direction. A connection section connects the end sections. A cover (8) is mounted on the body and equipped with fixing unit of a signaling chain.
