An endless conveyer for elevating bulk materials, slurries &c. comprises an endless belt 66, Fig. 4, with multiple finger-like projections 70, Fig. 8 (not shown), arranged in a conduit between upper and lower walls 34, 62. Material is fed to the conveyer through adjustable slots 108 in a wall 106 above a horizontal section of the conveyer and is discharged at an opening 42 in the elevator section 14. The belt passes over a driven roller 44 and adjustable return roller 116. Rollers 80, 82 are provided at the junction between the horizontal and elevation sections. In modifications the conveyer may be transportable on wheels with adjustable axles and the elevating section may be angularly adjustable. An arrangement is also referred to in which there is no horizontal section and material is fed to the lower part of the elevating section. |
