PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management device in which data is processed easily, recording data is managed stably, and physical management related to connection and disconnection is performed conveniently.SOLUTION: A data management device has first and second terminals which can connect and disconnect a first recorder capable of recording a plurality of programs, and a second recorder capable of recording a plurality of programs, respectively. An identification unit identifies the first and second terminals. A recording control unit collectively records metadata for managing a plurality of streams recorded in the first recorder, and metadata for managing a plurality of streams recorded in the second recorder being connected with the second terminal, for the first recorder being connected with the first terminal. |
