PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an output from a text speech synthesis system easier to comprehend.SOLUTION: This method includes: a step for extracting synonyms out of each of words contained in input texts stored in a data storage section; and an identification step for identifying a replacement candidate out of the synonyms extracted in connection with each word contained in the input texts, on the basis of determination factors including at least one of (1) auditory familiarity, (2) the degree of match of the whole text containing the relevant word with a property, and (3) the degree of evasion in text speech synthesis to be used.
