摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nondestructive inspection device which can be applied to inspection of heat insulation piping or the like, and uses pulse magnetic field for accurately detecting an actual signal of a defect in a piping body without influenced by deformation of an iron sheet outside the insulation piping; and to provide a nondestructive inspection method thereof.SOLUTION: The nondestructive inspection device using a pulse magnetic field nondestructively inspects a defect of an insulation piping 2. The nondestructive inspection device includes a pair of excitation coils 3-1 and 3-2 which applies the pulse magnetic field through the insulation piping 2 and can be arranged at an arbitrary position of the insulation piping 2; a pulse power source 8 for applying a pulse voltage to at least one of the pair of excitation coils 3-1 and 3-2; a magnetism sensor 4-1 which is arranged at an outer circumference of the insulation piping 2 between the pair of excitation coils 3-1 and 3-2 and detects a magnetic field parallel to an axial center direction of the insulation piping 2; and means for detecting, with the magnetism sensor 4-1, pulse magnetic field generated when at least one of the excitation coils 3-1 and 3-2 is driven by the pulse power source 8 driven by the pulse power source 8, and analyzing a response of the pulse magnetic field detected by the magnetism sensor 4-1.
