PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector assembly device which allows for homogenization of terminal insertion work regardless of the sensibility of a worker while enhancing the work efficiency, and allows for reliable insertion of a terminal.SOLUTION: A connector assembly device 1 includes a terminal guide 12 for guiding a plurality of terminal fittings 3B to a plurality of terminal insertion holes 2A, respectively. The terminal guide 12 has a terminal guide jig (guide body) 22 extending in the parallel direction of the plurality of terminal insertion holes 2A, and a plurality of insertion grooves 41 provided in the terminal guide jig 22 so that the terminal fittings 3B are passed therethrough. The terminal guide jig 22 is configured movably along the surface of a substrate 2 to a guide position near the terminal insertion holes 2A, and the insertion groove 41 is formed to have an inclined plane 42. A plurality of terminal fittings 3B are inserted into a plurality of terminal insertion holes 2A, respectively, by guiding a connector toward the surface of the substrate 2 in an inclined position, while sliding the terminal fittings 3B inserted into insertion grooves 41 against the inclined plane 42. |
