PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit setting information of an own device with higher security and more reliably.SOLUTION: A communication device 1 for performing path control of data on a network comprises: one or more interfaces 11 for connecting a network; collection means 14 for collecting setting information on the communication device including network control information and path control information; transmission determination means 16 for accepting a transmission instruction to transmit the setting information collected by the collection means 14 to the network, and for determining transmission of the setting information; and transmission means 17 for transmitting the setting information to a prescribed network segment via the interfaces without setting a transmission destination when the transmission determination means 16 has determined transmission.
