Provided is a simple valve timing control device that ensures the required strength and is capable of being made smaller and lighter. A valve timing controller comprises: a drive-side rotating body that rotates synchronously with a crank shaft; a follower-side rotating body that rotates synchronously with a cam shaft and is mutually rotatably disposed in the interior of the drive-side rotating body; an advance chamber and retard chamber that are formed by partitioning a fluid pressure chamber, which is between the drive-side rotating body and the follower-side rotating body, by a partition section provided on the follower-side rotating body; and a phase controller which supplies compressed fluid to the retard chamber and the advance chamber and controls the rotational phase of the follower-side rotating body with respect to the drive-side rotating body. The follower-side rotating body has an advance channel linking to the advance chamber and a retard channel linking to the retard chamber. The drive-side rotating body is formed with an aluminum material, and the follower-side rotating body integrally comprises an outer circumferential member that is provided with the partition section and is made of an aluminum material, and an inner circumferential member that is configured to be further on the inner circumference than the outer circumferential member and is made of a ferrous material. |
