The invention relates to a calibrating device for a signal processing device which has an input stage, a signal processing stage, and an output stage, comprising an output stage calibrator. The output stage calibrator comprises a test signal source which can be coupled to the output stage, a feedback channel which can be connected between the output of the output stage and the input of the input stage, and a signal analyzer which can be coupled to the input stage. The test signal source is designed to provide a test signal to the output stage, said test signal being fed to the input stage via the feedback channel after being processed by the output stage. The signal analyzer is designed to analyze the test signal after the test signal is processed by the input stage and to ascertain deviations of an actual output intensity of the output stage on the basis of the analysis when a target output intensity of the output stage is selected and/or to ascertain deviations of an actual input intensity of the input stage on the basis of the analysis when a target input intensity of the input stage is selected.
