Disclosed herein is an active clutch. The active clutch comprises: a driving unit for providing a driving power; a transmission plate which has a gear part disposed on the outer circumferential surface thereof and rotated by receiving the driving power of the driving unit, a hole part formed at the center thereof to allow an output shaft to pass through the hole, and a plurality of guide grooves formed in a curved shape in a space formed between the gear part and the hole part; a ball bearing mounted on the outer wall of the hole part which protrudes to one side of the transmission plate; a cover panel mounted to surround the outside of the ball bearing and supporting the hole part to be able to rotate; second stoppers respectively inserted into the guide grooves through the cover panel and a mounting panel mounted in contact with the cover panel in order to restrict rotation of the transmission plate, so that the transmission plate is rotated within a preset angle; a converting unit located inside the hole part to convert a rotary motion transmitted to the transmission plate into a rectilinear motion; and a pressing ring mounted on the output shaft to be able to slide and transforming a plate spring by carrying out the rectilinear motion by the operation of the converting unit in order to release a pressing force transmitted to a clutch disk. |
