PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage device and a heat insulator capable of easily attaching and detaching a heat insulating material to a hot water storage tank, preventing generation of rust due to electric corrosion and reliably suppressing heat leakage.SOLUTION: A heat insulator includes: a heat insulator body 18 which can be attached so as to cover at least a part of a hot water storage tank capable of storing hot water and is composed of material having heat insulating property; a linear fastener 22 which is disposed on an edge part of the heat insulator body 18, has an element composed of metal material and detachably connects edge parts to each other while covering the hot water storage tank with the heat insulator body 18; and an insulating part 23 which is located so as to separate the surface of the hot water storage tank from a metal part of the linear fastener 22 when attaching the heat insulator body 18 to the hot water storage tank and is composed of a material having insulating property. |
