PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a washing machine which detects presence or absence of a transfer fitting by an inclination of a water tub when installing the washing machine and reports when the removal of the transfer fitting is forgotten with a display means to prevent failures due to an abnormal vibration during washing and dewatering.SOLUTION: The washing machine comprises: a water tub 2 which encloses a drum 5 for housing laundry and is resiliently supported in a washing machine body 1 in a freely swingable way; a transfer fitting 13 for fixing a space between the water tub 2 and the washing machine body 1 during transportation of the washing machine; acceleration detecting means 15 provided on the water tub 2 for detecting vibration components in a plurality of directions; control means 17 for controlling a rotation of a motor 6 for rotary driving the drum 5; and display means 19 for displaying a signal from the control means 17. The control means 17 detects presence or absence of a transfer fitting 13 by an output of the acceleration detecting means 15 when installing the washing machine before the motor 6 is driven and reports that the transfer fitting 13 is not released with the display means 19. |
