PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device and a notification method of a residual amount of a consumable material using an LED in which a residual amount of a consumable material can be checked even from a place away from the device.SOLUTION: The notification method of a residual amount of a consumable material, in an image formation device including a plurality of LEDs arranged at a position in which a lighting state of the LEDs can be checked from a place away from the device, includes: a first step for lighting or blinking a plurality of LEDs with a first light emission pattern corresponding to an operating state of the device; and a second step for lighting or blinking a plurality of LEDs with a second light emission pattern which is different from the first light emission pattern corresponding to a predetermined residual amount of the consumable material. |
