PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flange type rolled paper supply device that can stably convey rolled paper while preventing occurrence of sagging of the rolled paper and can reduce a load of an electric motor to reduce power consumption.SOLUTION: A rolled paper supply device 5 can supply paper from rolled paper to an image forming portion 23 for forming an image on the rolled paper 2. The rolled paper supply device 5 comprises: a forward conveyance mechanism 32 that transmits, from a driving source 31 to the rolled paper 2, driving force for conveying the paper in an advancing direction from the rolled paper 2; a rolled paper driving mechanism 33 that transmits the driving force to the rolled paper 2; a rewinding mechanism 35 that rewinds the paper to the rolled paper 2 by conveying the paper in a direction opposite to the advancing direction via the rolled paper driving mechanism 33; and a regenerative mechanism 34 that regenerates the driving force to the driving source 31 in such a manner that, through the paper conveyed in the advancing direction by the forward conveyance mechanism 32, the rolled paper drive mechanism 33 transmits the driving force, in the advancing direction generated in the rolled paper, to the forward conveyance mechanism 32. |
