A plurality of versions of an object are stored in a memory. A plurality of votes relating to the plurality of versions are received from a plurality of parties. A version of the object is selected from among the plurality of versions, based on the plurality of votes. A second plurality of versions of the object are generated based on the selected version. Metadata associated with the selected version is stored, the metadata comprising first data specifying the plurality of parties from whom votes were received and second data specifying the votes received.
