<p>The present invention relates to a vending machine having a multi-media function. A vending machine, which has a product storage space, a bill and coin slot, a coin discharge slot, a product selection button, and a product exit slot, includes: a control unit performing a control to extract advertisement image and voice data once a free beverage selection signal is inputted, perform an image and voice processing operation, and output the processed data and then performing a control to provide a free beverage through a vending machine once an output of a product advertisement image and voice is completed; an image and voice processing unit performing an image and voice processing operation on each of the product advertisement image and voice data according to a control of the control unit; an input/output unit providing a free beverage selection signal inputted through a touch screen to the control unit and outputting a product advertisement image and voice, which are image-and-voice-processed through the image and voice processing unit, through the touch screen; and a storage unit storing product advertisement image and voice data and extracting them if necessary to provide the extracted data to the control unit.
