PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a record history acquisition method for acquiring a writing history of electronic data upon writing the electronic data to a removable medium from a computer, a program therefor, and a program record medium.SOLUTION: When a record for writing image data to a removable medium 3 from a writing software 4 is ended, a medium discharge request serving as a command for discharging the removable medium 3 from a medium drive 2 is output and transmitted to the medium drive 2. A computer 1 includes: a driver ware 7 located between an operating system 5 and a device driver layer. The driver ware 7 receives the medium discharge request, temporarily stops the medium discharge request and reads data such as a file, a directory or the like stored in the removable medium and thereby acquires a record history of the removable medium 3. |
